The Breakfast Club
The first Character we see is the young lady with short red hair, right away we can see she is from a wealthy background as her father is driving a top of the range BMW car. Through the charcter actions we are given the impression that she is "princess", who is usually stuck up bossy and mean. The characters father seems to be under pressure to make her happy by offering to take her shopping and buy her things. Additionally the characters father is wearing a Burberry designer scarf (prop) , this implies that they are from a family of wealth.
The second character we see is a boy that comes out of an old beaten up family car. the clothes his wearing stereotypes him to be someone quite ordinary, usually the miss understood character in teen films. Furthermore the characters mother comes across to be quite protected and strict, given the impression they are a close family.
Furthermore the next charater to arrive is the boy wearing a baseball jacket. From the Baseball jacket prop used, it gives us the impression that he is playing the "Jock" character. The boy arrives in a pick up truck with his father suggesting that he is a strong and powerful character. The father is persistantly going on at his son telling him how he is going to ruin his sporting career if he doesn't get his act together, from this we are given the impression they have a tense relationship.
Moreover the next character in the film is the boy who arrives by foot. This is the only character who does not arrive by car, as the boy walks towards the school he carlessly walks in front of a car, from this it gives us the impression he is the "Outcasted" character. Additionally the boy arrives without any family giving us the impression that he is very alone.
Next we see a female character exiting a car through the back door without any conversation shown between her and her family. As the girl approaches the front doors to say bye, before she can the car drives of leaving her stunned, this gives us the impression that she doesn't have a good relationship with her parents.
