Analysis of teen movie

Mean Girls

Mean Girls trailer:

Mean Girls is a move that was released in 2004 which is based on the A-list girl clique at her new school, until she makes a dreadful mistake which leads her into falling for Aaron Samuels, the ex-boyfriend of another girl called alpha Plastic Regina George. The whole point of this movie was to change Cady, who was a modest human to join a clique of girls in her school which turns sourer for Cady who then seeks revenge on them. The film is a typically portrayal of how young women in groups act and the effect it can have on 12 to 16 year olds; the film is a great example for showing the problems teenagers have in the world today like bullying. There are also many binary oppositions in the movie for example: A popular boy/girl against a typical nerd or someone who has a good fashion sense and one who doesn't.
