Shot by shot remake-compare your version with the original version

Comparing the breakfast club

Our remake of the breakfast club opening is very similar to the original, yet it also has manny differences.
The very beginning of both clips are exactly the same with the same backing track. Both clips have identical title sequances with the same distribution companies, producers, cast etc.
We have constructed a similar overview of the shots that were taken in the original clip but we have taken similar shots in the college theses are shots such as: outside the collage,  food in the lunch hall, posters on the wall, etc.

During this part we have a voice over of my voice saying the exact same thing as the narrator says. This is a big similarity as the timing of my voice and the narrators are in sync.

Another similarity is the first character we which is the young lady who's known as the 'queen', we portrayed the girl to be a daddy's girl who gets what she wants. The difference between ours and the original is the miss en scene use of props, in the original the father is much older and the pair are in a BMW car. In our clip the father is much younger and we have used a large window to illustrate the cars window additionally the father is wear a scarf similarly, and we have made the daughter wear sunglasses to reinforce her image as 'queen'. Furthermore we have used similar but not the same dialogue between the characters.

We have reenacted the scene between the 'Jock' character and his father. Similarly we have shown the fathers authority over the boy and his strict parenting. The dialogue between the characters are different to that of the original, but the conversation is very similar. Furthermore we used a van to represent the truck driven by the father and have used a collage window to reprsent the car window.
